A fully equipped clinic with field medic to care for people from our farm and the local community to improve the public health system. Inevitable natural disasters can happen; therefore, a natural disaster management plan and fire safety & response plan are prepared in collaboration with relevant local authorities.

There is one primary school within the community, and we support the school by funding school maintenance, stationery, other learning equipment and the teachers.  We help the communities improve their education standards and cultivate talents, which may eventually contribute to the farm.

Pearl meat, the muscle of the South Sea Pearl, is a rare side product of pearl farming.  A farmed oyster takes 7-12 years to produce pearls, when the shell is retired, where meat can be picked.  Pearl meat is sought-after in Hong Kong and Japan for its nutritional value and remedial benefit.  After each harvest, RIO PEARL will dry out the pearl meat and the sell locally and to dry seafood market.
